• The Gran Hotel Sóller is much more than a 5 star hotel magnificently situated in a beautiful town in north-west of the island, it also enjoys the advantage of being positioned between the sea and mountains. During its first years of existence at the end of the 19th century, the beautiful little palace served as a family residence of the Casasnovas family, who converted the back part of the building into a tannery and shoe factory. The residence was originally converted into a hotel in the 1960s, but closed shortly afterwards during a crisis that affected the whole town. Quite a few years later, Andrés Gelebert has brought back a classic, the Gran Hotel Sóller.

• The hotel currently holds 38 rooms and suites that boast all modern conveniences. Certain accommodations also include Jacuzzis and terraces with wonderful views, providing guests with ultimate comfort.
  The Gran Hotel Sóller has a wide range of facilities. • The hotel is located in the centre of Sóller, a Mallorcan coastal town in the heart of the Tramuntana mountain range just 3km from the beach. The hotel can be reached from Palma by the Soller Train, or by taking the Soller tunnel by bus or car (25mins). A picturesque wooden tram takes guests through orange groves in the valley and then up to the Sóller beach and harbour. For those who enjoy walking, from the hotel you can discover various foothpaths which surround the establishment; there are also two nearby golf courses (10km and 35km).
