WHO WE ARE

Splendia was founded in 2004 by Elie de Cognac and Benoit Durand, over some traditional mint tea in a Moroccan riad. Realising that there was more to life than the lure of the east, they decided to put their well earned cash and expert business knowledge together to form an online booking company dedicated to boutique and luxury hotels. Five years on, Elie and Benoit have swapped the Moroccan mint tea for their customary black coffee.

An international company with offices in three major cities (Barcelona, Hong-Kong and Miami), Splendia has a hand-picked workforce from 17 different countries. The ethos is one of luxury, style and originality, a belief that extends to every aspect of our company from the design of our website to the quality of our customer care, ensuring that we always offer the customer a truly memorable experience.

The hotel doesn't intervene at all in the evaluation process, and hotels with a low rating are withdrawn from our selection.

We provide a clear, transparent and easy internet booking service. There are no hidden extras in the price, and the booking process itself is smooth and hassle free. Unlike some hotel websites, Splendia has immediate and up-to-date information on rates and availability, so your booking is confirmed instantly on line.

We also have an exceptionally strong customer service team with lines open 365 days a year in 8 different languages. The team are there to answer any queries you may have, and in the unlikely event that you are unsatisfied with the hotel, they are there to act on your behalf and sort out any problems.
