Of note: the breakfast coffee was very smooth and one of the best places to find a great cup of coffee in a city known for its coffee. Had a great time and would come back."

Staff relaxed and friendly but had one minor experience of disatisfaction when a guy at reception was unable to make a taxi booking for us on new years eve and sat watching us wait for 10mins for the taxi, without ever telling us that he couldn't book one. Otherwise, I could highly recommend the hotel, as long as you can cope with the noise of metros passing up until 1am (not actually intrusive)."

  "I had been warned about the size of rooms in Paris, so I was pleasantly surprised by the room, the bathroom was small however, but very clean. I would wholehearted recommend this hotel except for the noise of the metro which you can hear all night. Consequently, we did not get much sleep over the four days. You could hear the train from the lobby and our room on the fourth floor. After our first sleepless night, we asked at reception if there was another room where we would not hear the train and we were told that all floors the train noise would be the same. I would suggest you put a notice on your website about this. Light sleepers need not apply."

  "Good clean hotel with adequate facilities for a short stay. The room allocated was ideal as we were 2 married ladies, who appreciated the extra single room attached to the double room, giving privacy. The location was ideal and in walking distance to many tourist attractions, especially if you like to shop! the Metro was only a few minutes away. A facility for making coffee was a very nice touch as this is lacking in lots of Paris accommodation."

The look and feel was was modern but it also had the remains of the orginal hotel that the writer George Sand stayed in. The staff was excellent and informative. I have found my new home in Paris!"
