Designed by award winning Architects “SCDA”, Alila Villas Hadahaa is set on the tropical island of Hadahaa in the Gaafu Alifu (North Huvadhoo) Atoll, believed to be one of the largest and deepest natural atolls in the world. Being the first luxury resort in Huvadhoo, the absolute tranquillity associated with a true tropical paradise is assured with our closest inhabited island more than 10 kilometers away. The island’s proximity to the Equator creates a truly unique night sky with stars from both hemispheres being present and its isolated location, far away from artificial light sources, offers a rare experience by revealing a magnificent selection of these stars to the naked eye. Great care has been taken in the construction of the resort to preserve the natural vegetation in order to maintain the ambiance of the island and minimize its environmental footprint. Alila Villas Hadahaa is the first resort in the Maldives certified to the standards of Green Globe from the design and construction stage and environmental awareness and protection are key considerations in all guests’ experiences. The interiors of the villa include natural timber and stone to imbue the minimalist contemporary design with an indigenous touch. There is only a short sandy walk from the deck of the villa to the magical blue of the Indian Ocean. Alila Villas Hadahaa offers a refreshing and healthy dining experience of the highest international standard. Both “Relish” and “Battuta’s” restaurants are carefully designed to create unique dining environments, catering to guests needs from early morning until late into the evening. Guests will arrive at Alila Villas Hadahaa via a 55-minute flight from Male to Kaadedhdhoo Domestic Airport, where they commence their Alila Villas experience as guests board a 55 foot Luxury “Azimut” power yacht for a 75-minute cruise to the resort.
