Hide-Away Guest House a small property offering outstanding accommodation and panoramic views – here you can expect total relaxation and personal service in an elegant, peaceful and luxurious atmosphere — just ten minutes walk from the centre. The architecturally striking Cape Colonial house sits overlooking Knysna's famously picturesque coastline and countryside with expansive views of Knysna Heads and Lagoon. The interiors are no less impressive, with the house making extensive use of natural textures such as timber, rugs and throws, and cleverly controlled lighting. Add the warm welcome by owners Cecil and Colleen Harding and you have the very best in intimate South African hospitality.
Hide-Away Guest House offers 7 well-appointed ensuite rooms. All rooms have mini bar, complimentary tea/coffee tray, TV, fan, heater, electric blankets (in winter), clock radios, hairdryer, mini safe, gowns and guest amenities. Breakfast is served on the verandah in fine weather. A swimming pool and well equipped gym are available for use by guests and free Wi-Fi access is provided.
Localisation
Hide-Away Guest House is the ideal place to simply relax or from which to explore the many sights of Knysna and the scenic Garden Route. Knysna is surrounded by a paradise of indigenous forests, mountains, lakes and spectacular beaches and nestles on the banks of a tranquil estuary. Day trips can be taken to spectacular Tsitsikama National Park, Plettenberg Bay, Wilderness, George, Mossel Bay and Oudtshoorn.
