• The beautifully decorated, elegant and exclusive boutique hotel Petit Palais Hotel De Charme, is located in the centre of thriving Milan. The building was built in the 17th century and retains an aura of old world charm. Inside, the decoration is heavy and Italianate, with luscious tapestries, Murano chandeliers, oriental rugs, wooden, marble and Lombard terracotta floors, crystal glassware and marble pillars. Ornate artwork lines the walls, with still life and portraits in gilt frames. In the atmospheric interior courtyard lanterns lend a cosy glow to the lattice trelices with winding vines, and old fashioned marble sink and details.

• All of the 18 uniquely decorated suites are fitted with utmost lavish style, with views to the inner courtyard or the city centre. Some have a fully fitted kitchenette, and all have a lounge area with a sofa, table and chairs, a king size bed, guest room with an extra bed and possibility of adding a cot and two of the suites even have their own fireplace. The bathrooms are made of Italian marble and have a jacuzzi bathtub. The rooms are traditionally decorated with heavy draperies and elegant silk tapestries, antique époque furniture and ornate carpets. Afternoon tea or an aperitif can be savoured in the lounge, and breakfast is served in the vaulted cellar room or on request directly in the suites. Special meals can be prepared by prior arrangement and served in the banqueting facilities with seating for up to 30.
