Looking straight out onto the Rio Priuli Canal right in the heart of the Cannaregio district, staying in the Una Hotel Venezia feels like stepping back into the 15th century This stately building has been restored to its ancient splendour thanks to carefully thought out renovation, with emphasis on detail and furnishing, and kitted out with lovely Murano glass chandeliers to provide the romantic atmosphere that is a prerequisite for any stay in the city. As well as that, you are only 5 minutes on foot from the Rialto Bridge and 15 minutes from Saint Mark’s Square.
UNA Hotel Venezia has 37 rooms which are elegantly furnished in a typically ornate Venetian style, and provide every possible comfort - make sure to ask for the pillow menu. Wireless internet is available in public areas and rooms, so you can send photos and keep in touch without any difficulty. If you fancy a snack or alcoholic drink, a good cocktail for example, there's a comfortable 'American' bar. A good breakfast is served in the bright and welcoming café. Other services that the hotel offer are tailored shopping tours, and babysitting; both of which can be organised with the staff at reception.
Location
Una Hotel Venezia's location beside a quiet canal gives you the option of with the option of coming and going by private water taxi, and getting one of these from the airport. The price of the water taxi from the airport is approximately €100-120. Alternatively, if you arrive by car or bus stopping at Piazzale Roma you can take line 1 of the public 'Vaporetto' boat, direction Lido, and get off at Cà d'Oro. Then cross the main street 'Strada Nova' onto 'Calle de le Vele', cross the bridge and turn right onto Rio Priuli Canal. When you arrive, try losing your sense of time and direction in lazy wanders through the winding lace work of canals, alleyways and little hump-backed bridges.

"We spent only two nights there, but for sure our next stay in Venice will be in this hotel, if possible ;-) Location - few minutes walk from Rialto Bridge and 10 minuutes to San Marco. Hotel staff - very friendly and caring; Lufthansa lost our luggage and people from the hotel took care of collecting it and delivered it directly to our room. Thanks again for all your help ;-) Rooms & Hotel - you feel both home and small Venetian palace at the same time. Dining room - like bigger one in your own home, only instead of one big table - few smaller ones ;-) with nice ivory clothing and Villeroy&Boch porcelaine. Very-very good choice."
