Hotel description

The Rembrandt, perfectly located in Knightsbridge, combines contemporary and elegant decor with many of the original Edwardian features. Originally commissioned as luxury suites for the famous Harrods department store, its complete 2007 refurbishment has given a relaxed and effortlessly stylish outcome. Its vibrant and sophisticated interiors will invigorate guests for shopping and culture in the capital. The hotel's strategic location sets the guest on the doorstep of the famous shopping areas of Kings Road and Knightsbridge.

Many of the Rembrandt's rooms have recently undergone refurbishment and are bathed in elegance. The offer of three categories allows guests to enjoy one of the newly fitted Jacuzzi baths, perfect for unwinding and pampering.
The 1606 Lounge Bar boasts luxurious sofas, sultry lighting, a sophisticated choice of drinks and is perfect for grabbing a quick bite to eat. Providing a more formal setting, the Palette Restaurant offers seasonally inspired dishes with all the traditional trimmings. The hotel puts at your disposal the Aquilla Health and Fitness Club which is adjacent to the hotel and can be accessed from reception. This private club offers a swimming pool with fully equipped gym and fitness facilities.
The hotel also offers six fully air conditioned conference rooms, all with natural daylight and a private lobby area.

Location

The Rembrandt is situated in Knightsbridge, one of the most attractive and unchanged areas of central London and is just 2 minutes away from the South Kensington Underground station. The Rembrandt is excellently situated for sampling all of London's tourist attractions. At a short walking distance from the hotel, however, are the Royal Albert Hall, Victoria and Albert Museum, Science Museum, Harrods and Harvey Nichols.
