In Dublin's most vibrant and cosmopolitan area, Temple Bar, The Morgan Hotel has a cool and understated feel. The designers have used the minimalist concept, and achieve great elegance with plenty of cream and bright beige, a colour scheme that is enlivened with colorful paintings by Irish artists. Extra touches of comfort and luxury include classic furniture by designers such as Le Corbusier and Eileen Gray. The spatial concept throughout stresses function, though the white stone and the inviting white furniture in the lobby are more befitting of a showroom for modern design. The Morgan Hotel provides a stimulating experience for people who are tired of the usual and want something different.
At The Morgan Hotel, the bedrooms and suites have been designed to create an ultra stylish ambience. They feature a light and cosy boutique hotel atmosphere that is brought out by hues of bright beige, cream, caramel and coffee. The spacious beds of reddish pear wood are covered in crisp white Egyptian cotton bed linens - all beautifully framed by light fixtures from French designer Pascal Morgue. The bathrooms feature natural limestone vanity tops and natural beech bath panels that contrast with white tiles and white fittings. The stylish Morgan Bar is open all day and offers an oasis of cool comfort and relaxation amongst the hustle and bustle of Temple Bar. Casual dining is also available here, an excellent (and extensive) tapas menu is served all day (12.30pm until 9.30pm).
Location
The Morgan Hotel couldn't be more central. Guests are just a stroll away from Grafton Street, the main shopping thoroughfare, Trinity College, theatres, shopping, music and nightlife, along with proximity to the IFSC, Dublin's main business district. Dublin International Airport is located 12km away.

"The central location, based on a main street, it was perfect for all the pubs."
"Looking at the hotel on the internet, it comes across as being quite luxurious, but in truth it is not quite as it seems. I think the general areas could be improved upon, they are looking a little tired, the room itself was clean and quite big, plenty of wardrobe space, the bathroom was clean and spacious. The reception area wasn't very well manned if there were a queue of people waiting. I actually paid cash on arrival and on check out they had no record of me having paid. Eventually the money came to light in an envelope 'out the back', so be warned if you pay cash - get a receipt!"
