"We were a bit disappointed to be moved to another hotel for our first night because of an apparent flood but we were upgraded on our return and they paid for our transfer to the airport so they more than made up for it."

"They are really trying hard at the Tan. The best part of the hotel is the accessibility to all the layers of history in Istanbul. Rooms are quite adequate, though simple. Good bathroom and tub (with jets) but the water pressure is inconsistent. Bidet. Breakfast served on 5th floor with panoramic views of Old City, Bosphorus, and Marmara. Staff very friendly and accommodating."
