This hotel has a decidedly aristocratic theme, and is perfect for discerning visitors to London. Located just moments from St. James's Street, near Mayfair, it opened as a gentlemen’s chamber for the English aristocracy in 1892. Being relatively small in scale, this hotel has an intimate, warm and welcoming feel. The building is a striking red townhouse and inside the colours yield into relaxing, warm golds and distinguished ebonies – these are combined with stylish furniture. The décor downstairs, especially in the bar and reception, add a real sense of creativity and class, with classic interiors enhanced by interesting artwork. Indeed, the interiors of the St. James's Hotel and Club were designed by an international team of architects and designers led by the award-winning interior designer AMJ Design, from Berlin. The surrounding area is quiet, and the hotel makes a peaceful, restful place to escape the city. The friendly staff will be more than happy to help you get the most out of your stay in this wonderful city.

Each of the luxurious 60 guest rooms and suites are characterised by attention to detail, incorporating state-of-the-art technology and exquisite furnishings. Many have their own balcony and views over the rooftops of the historic St James's district. In the last few years, St James’s has become one of the most fashionable areas of London in which to dine. This reputation is now enhanced with the arrival of Philipp Vogel, who has designed a superb menu for the hotel’s new restaurant.
