Each of the bungalows has been individually decorated to give it its own unique character. Each has air-conditioning, satellite television and WiFi internet access. When it comes to dining you can choose between the cosy ambiance of the dining room or the panoramic vistas of the terrace – the menu offers a mouthwatering range of French, Italian and international dishes, accompanied, naturally, by an excellent selection of South African wines. The large free-form swimming pool is surrounded by a wooden deck – the perfect sun trap – while the two large terraces make the ideal place to relax, bask in the sheer peacefulness of the site, and have a cool drink while watching the animals roaming around. The lodge also organises safari trips, visiting 'big five' reserves and other places of interest in the area, as well as game drives on Spirit of Africa Lodge's own reserve. Spirit of Africa Lodge can be found about 35 km from the town of Thabazimbi, in the Limpopo province of South Africa. Nestling at the feet of the picturesque Waterberg Mountains, and surrounded by game reserves, it is about 250 km from Johannesburg International Airport, which can be reached either by car or by helicopter.
