Newly-inaugurated, the S15 Sukhumvit Hotel brings subtle contemporary design and superb accommodation to a desirable location on Sukhumvit Road, right in the centre of Bangkok. From the outside, the S15 Sukhumvit whispers low-key sophistication and class. The welcoming lobby is an accomplished preview of the hotel's rooms and public areas: chocolate and hazelnut browns are contrasted against muted and earthy tones of light-coloured granite and marble, as well as glass, mirrors and reflective sheet metal. Natural materials such as leather and soft fabrics interplay with Italian light fittings, used to create dramatic visual imagery. Sculptures also feature prominently for an added touch of refinement. Likewise, the hotel's finesse is kindled by the gracious hospitality so typical of Thailand.
S15 Sukhumvit Hotel offers deluxe rooms, junior suites and suites. They offer the same amenities but differ with respect to size and furniture. All guest rooms feature Italian light fixtures, marble bathrooms with bathtubs and separate rain showers. In addition, Wi-Fi high speed internet access is provided all public areas and guest rooms, free of charge. "Everything about the hotel was good, from the moment we arrived everyone was friendly and hospitable. The only thing that we were dissapointed in and the reason i marked "insufficient" for the services was the wake up call. We specifically asked to be woken up at 4.30 am as were going to check out and catch our plane. But we were woken up at 6.30 am. Thus we missed our flight, had to stay at a hotel next to the airport for a few hours till we found another flight out which was a different airlines and we had to pay for our one way ticket to Dubai. I would definetely recommend this hotel but warn the people about "the wake up call". The other thing was, after our first night the housekeeping cleaned the room and did not leave any towels and after every cleaning the newspaper was taken away before we had a chance to read it."
