• Room Mate Migueletes is a 17th century mansion with beautiful gardens and a traditional Andalusian courtyard. The building was a former barracks of the famous rural police force at the time, called the "Migueletes" after the long shotgun that they used, and the inspiration for the hotel's name. The mansion was declared derelict by the city hall in 1995 and was recently restored to convert it into the marvellous establishment that it is today. The painstaking restoration by the architect Carlos Sánchez has perfectly incorporated all of the elements of the original building.

• The Migueletes has only 25 non-smoking rooms, allowing for personalized and attentive service. The rooms themselves are naturally beautiful and have been decorated with simplicity, featuring attractive wooden roofs, bedside tables and carved headboards, as well as marble bathrooms and tiles from Granada. The views on offer vary according to the room yet are always splendid. Some face the Alhambra whilst others the distict of Albaicín, declared a World Heritage Site. The rest of the rooms look onto the central courtyard adorned with a water fountain, an orange tree, a lemon tree and various plants. For the comfort of guests, the hotel provides a nice living room and happily makes bookings for the Alhambra, as well as restaurants, flamenco shows, steam baths and bicycle tours.

• Room Mate Migueletes is situated in the Granada's Old Town, where vehicles are forbidden access. The establishment provides parking at special rates in Plaza Puerta Real, situated in the same square, from which the rest of the journey can be easily made in taxi (the hotel only pays if the guests arrives by car). The hotel is situated at the end of Plaza Nueva, 50 metres from Santa Ana church.
