• The Room Mate Marina is a newly built establishment both contemporary and elegant, work of an eminient architect, Luis López Sigilio. Concrete, iron and glass are the main materials that have been used in its construction: concrete for the structure but also as inventively used as a decorative element, it features in the majority of the walls, floors and ceilings of the public areas. Probably the most remarkable aspect of the hotel, however, is its overall brightness. The large windows allow the sun to penetrate into every space. The décor is completed with interesting eliptically shaped lamps located in the reception area - alongside what will soon be a terrace café - with simple iron wires that adorn the first floor ceiling and the stairs which give access to the first floor.

• Some might be of the opinion that the modern décor of the Room Mate Marina is cold; this could not be argued however about the 42 rooms and suites which are very welcoming indeed: the whites and unbleached bedspreads and walls contrast with the wooden floors, black furniture and red chairs. The light drenches the rooms, rooms that look onto the two squares that surround the hotel. All include a full range of amenities and have a small entrance hall and desk.
  The Room Mate Marina's restaurant on the first floor specialises in Mediterranean food and enjoys marvellous views to some of the most emblematic buildings of the city. The views from the eighth floor are also excellent. A sauna, gym, solarium and design jacuzzi are located here. The same room serves as a cocktail party location, which includes an extension to the ninth floor that also includes a smaller terrace with a 360º view of the city.

• The Room Mate Marina is adjoined by two squares, which include two monuments: the Reales Atarazanas and the Santa María del Mar church. The hotel is located in the port district of Valencia, close to the City of the Arts and Sciences (Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias) and the Sea Balcony. The airport is 20 minutes away.
