• The Trastevere district on the left bank of river Tiber is the heart of Roman nightlife and is rich in pubs, clubs and restaurants. Its very well connected by the Number 8 tram (and Number 8 nightbus) which runs close to the Pantheon, and is even within walking distance from the most important monuments of the city. Some of the most interesting sites in Trastevere include the Church of Santa Maria (with impressive golden ceiling mosaics) and the Church of Santa Cecilia. Probably the most recommended thing to do is to get lost in its narrow and winding cobble streets, full of delights that have to be found by chance... Fiumicino Airport is 30 minutes by train from the Termini station (15 minutes from the hotel in taxi).
