Hotel description

Surrounded by a 2700 m² garden, on the periphery of Marrakesh, this 19th century riad opens onto a large, inviting pool. Its Moorish décor surrounds a patio which sits under the open sky. Completely renovated by its owners, the Riad Tammou is an ideal place for a peaceful and romantic stay. Airy, spacious, calm ... its elegant decoration and rich colours create a perfect symbiosis between luxury and exoticism. The light that shines into the main lounge and caresses the walls produces a magical atmosphere.

The Riad Tammou is composed of four suites situated on the ground floor, distributed around a patio, in addition to a single suite on the first floor. You can appreciate the delicacies served on the terrace restaurant and lose yourself to the magnificent views of the Atlas mountains. In the garden is a large Bedouin tent, which houses a summer lounge. The hotel's enormous swimming pool offers you cool, refreshing relaxation. Furthermore, the riad is equipped with its own giant-screened cinema, fitted with the latest sound system technology.

Location

In the vicinity of the riad are 3 golf courses: Golf Royal, Folf Amelkis and Golf Amanjena. The shops, restaurants, bars and discotheques of the centre are 18 km away. The Palmeral de Marrakesh is also nearby.

"The hotel was very charming. We really enjoyed our stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was not nearly as big as it appeared in the pictures, however, we were in the Fayrouz suite which was quite large. Overall, it's a calm and quiet place to stay, however, if you plan on going into Marrakech medina and sightseeing, and you do not have a car, the location is inconvenient and $$ when it comes to cab fares."
