Hotel description
This remarkable riad in Fes' medina was built at the beginning of 20th century and was recently restored by craftsmen who managed to recapture the glory of its jaw-dropping interiors. The property itself is wonderfully atmospheric, with some of the finest zellij, plasterwork, carved wood and brass work that you can see outside of the tourist attractions – just the place to unwind in style.
Riad Myra's splendour is most evident in its elegant and beautifully decorated guestrooms and suites; they manage to get the blend of original Moorish details, English antique furniture, and modern amenities just right. All the guestrooms are equipped with minibars and air conditioning. For views of the Medina head to the outdoor terrace; this, along with the restaurant, makes a great spot to have a delicious breakfast. And if you fancy a break from the sightseeing, why not relax with a book in one of the beautiful living rooms – or indulge in a traditional hammam bath.
Location
Riad Myra is conveniently located next to Batha square as well as other historical sites of Morocco's imperial city (within walking distance from the historic sites of the Medina and the famous Bab Boujloud medina gate.) A secure car-park is in the vicinity.
