Hotel description

Riad Les Lauriers Blancs is a divine hideaway where the spirit and charm of traditional Moroccan design is beautifully infused with contemporary elements. Riad Les Lauriers Blancs offers a choice of 5 spacious rooms opening onto an interior patio, covered in winter, with a large heated Jacuzzi and a murmuring fountain. The Riad's decoration is interesting, instead of opting for the more sombre tones of a traditional Riad, the owners Katy and Jean-Pierre have incorporated tasteful dashes of colour.

Rooms are renovated in keeping with Moroccan tradition including exposed brickwork, polished limestone finishes (Tadelakt) and enamelled tiles (Zellige). Rooms feature a variety of colours and decoration and are highly personalised. There is also a wonderful secluded rooftop terrace for sunbathing and barbecues, a comfortable sitting room with an open fireplace, Wi-Fi Internet access and flat screen TV. The Riad is also fitted with split system (heating/cooling) air conditioning throughout. For dining, meals can be enjoyed within the comfort of the Riad at the host's table.

Location

The Riad's position within the Old Town puts you within easy reach of the bazaars, Jemaa-el-Fna square, principal mosques, gardens and shopping streets. ***PLEASE NOTE: The hotel charges €4 extra for all transactions made with credit card.***

"Upside: Immaculate rooms with kind owners and servers. Quite and sane refuge within the Medina of Marrakesh. Plunge pool was small but refreshing enough. Terrace had a good view of the outer part of the Medina. Breakfast was great. The portfolio of available beverages and snacks was also good. Our favorite was their omelet and the simple salad. Downside: Food price was a bit too expensive. Distance to the main place can be a bit far. (On the contrary, the distance to Yves Saint Laurent's garden is very close.)"

"Nous sommes venus chercher 3 jours de repos et de bien-être, nous avons eu bien plus que ça. Catherine et Pierre-Jean nous ont accueilli et vous recevront admirablement bien.
