The Diamond Suite is the jewel of the Riad Le Calife. Its magnificent original zouak (painting on wood) ceiling was entirely restored in the most rigorous respect of tradition. The marriage between the original zelliges (mosaic), stucco (sculpted plaster) and red shades, makes the Diamond suite very prestigious indeed.

Riad Le Calife is an elegant aristocratic riad which dates to 1933, situated three minutes walk from the historical R�Cif square of the medina. A jewel of Moroccan architecture with a contemporary feel, it conjures up all the mystery of Fez. Almost every surface is covered with decoration of one form or another and finely sculpted arcades create a sumptuous, splendid atmosphere. This is a space to wander through and wonder at, and the perfect base for your exploration of the area.
Accommodations at Riad Le Calife include three suites and four charming rooms, all equipped with double beds (no twins beds). Three lounge areas overlooking the patio are available to guests for their leisure: a lounge-bar, a dining room and a reception-lounge–library. The Riad also has two terraces (the Pergola bar and Caid’s tent), which offer a stunning panoramic view of the Medina. To complete the remarkable experience of body, mind and spirit, a relaxation salon is also available to guests seeking complete tranquility.

Riad Le Calife is located in the middle of the Medina of Fez within 20 minutes drive from Fez Saïs International Airport. Access to the Riad Le Calife is quick and simple. The Riad is located a short 3-minute walk from the famous R´Cif square outside one of the main gates leading to historical centre of the old city. Just a few steps from Riad Le Calife you will find the convenience services you may need, such as a bank, a pharmacy and a secure car park.
