The mind-boggling stucco-work, carved wood and zellij seen in all eight rooms, the three-story patio, and main lounge date from the 19th century when a major renovation was carried out on the aristocratic home, which currently offers 7 spacious rooms and 1 suite. The philosophy of the riad is to share the rich heritage of Morocco's spiritual capital and its lifestyle with guests. • Each room is furnished with antique hand-carved beds, coffee tables and sofas, and ornaments handcrafted by Fez's famed artisans. Traditionally-dressed staff bring you an excellent mint tea and pastries. You can also book dinner at the riad, which is beautifully presented Moroccan home-style cooking.
