The Riad Ibn Battouta is the only thematic riad in Fez, and one of the most beautiful inns at the gates to the medina. This riad, renovated with sobriety and passion, is dedicated to voyages and arab-andalusian art. Every suite re-creates - through a style, some colours, furniture, and a specific ambiance - the life and voyages of the well-known arab, Ibn Battouta. Works of art have been created on the walls themselves, in unexpected places, in order to surprise and reflect on an entire civilisation.

Every one of the 7 suites is a testimony of an episode in the life of the well-known traveller, Ibn Battouta - achieved through a unique decoration that interweaves the Orient and the Occident .... You can enjoy a traditional hammam, a massage room, and the terraces, on which you can be served breakfast and other meals. Don't hesitate to settle down in the large, marble and mosaic adorned patio, which has a 15 metre high stained-glass window, and lets you appreciate the arab-andalusian style of the house under a shaft of light ...

Location

Situated near the Batha museum and the Bab Boujloud gate, the Riad Ibn Battouta offers, from its terrace, a unique and impressive panorama of the city of Fez and its surroundings. Its ideal location allows access, in a few minutes, to the labyrinthine alleys of the most extensive medina in Morocco, or even catch a taxi in the direction of the newer parts of Fez.

"Un ambiente selecto y lleno de encanto, las habitaciones son impactantes y los baños una delicia, lo difícil es elegir habitación, son todas preciosas. Está a las puertas de la medina, perfectamente ubicado para visitar cualquier parte de la ciudad. La decoración está cuidada al detalle, el servicio es impecable y la cocina es excelente. Quizá deberían aclarar un poco más, y actualizar, la lista de precios de los servicios, pero realmente es una opción recomendable al 100% para hospedarse en Fes."
