Hotel description

Ideally located in the heart of the Medina, the Riad El Ouarda is a charming authentic residence. This noble house is a magnificent 17th century palace. Its traditional Moroccan splendour has been enhanced by a recent refurnishment. Its simple façade hides a rich interior which original architecture, subtle colours, authentic "Zelliges" reveal a place of outstanding beauty. From the sunny terrace can be seen the Marrakech skyline and the snow covered crest of the High Atlas mountains.

The 5 rooms and 4 suites of the Riad El Ouarda open on the two patios. Decorated in with Moroccan traditionnal touches, the rooms invite you to a whole new atmosphere: each owns its own style, own colours, own charm. They are all equiped with traditional bathrooms of which walls are covered with shimmering Tadellakt colours. The spacious multilevel terraces offer a striking you of the Medina and the Atlas mountains.

Location

Bab Taghzout is one of the eldest district of the Medina. It includes many palaces, now bought by celebrities. The bab Taghzout district offers an easy access by car. The Jemaa El Fna Square is only 15 minutes away on foot.
