Hotel description

A spacious Riad located a 100 metres away from the Medina's walls and restored to maintain the traditional charm of a 19th century house and fully equipped with modern comforts. The large patio, with orange and clementine trees, gives a real impression of opening to the outside, which is rare in most of the Riads. At Riad Clémentine, guests can appreciate the excellent welcome, the tasteful decoration of the 7 beautiful rooms, as well as the exquisite restaurant.

The Riad offers 4 bedrooms and 3 air conditioned suites all with a chimney. The large patio with arcades is perfect for unwinding, not to mention the comfortable living rooms. There is a swimming pool on the first floor and a superb terrace and a solarium on the second.

Location

Riad Clémentine is in Bab Doukkala district, in the heart of the Medina. It is 15 min away by walk from the Koutoubia Mosque. In this privileged site, guests can appreciate the warmth of the souks and the unforgettable excitement of the Jemaa El Fna Square. Restaurants and luxury boutiques of the European Gueliz district are also a few minutes away by taxi.

We were made extemely welcome, our room was comfortable and beautiful, the riad itself was gorgeous and had a pool that was larger than usual for a riad. Our hosts were friendly and professional, accommodating and helpful, and we felt like guests in someone's home rather than in a hotel. We chose to eat a lunch and an evening meal in the riad, both of which were generous and delicious - the chicken tajine was fantastic! I cannot recommend Riad Clementine enough. While more central riads may be tempting, this one is perfect in every other way."

"Ce Riad est superbe, au sein même de la Médina, à environ 10mn à pied de la place et dans un quartier beaucoup moins touristique que les abords immédiats de la place. Nous avions réservé dans un autre Riad ensuite mais avons regretté devoir quitter celui-ci. Les propriétaires sont passionnés et charmants et les autres personnes qui travaillent au Riad également. Nous y avons aussi dîné le premier soir, c'était délicieux."

The way in which the Riad was our quiet and peaceful sanctum was priceless to us. The entire staff was so warm, attentive, and perfect in ensuring that we had a wonderful stay there. The place is immaculate and well cared for by the staff as if it were their own home. The pool was what we looked forward to every afternoon during the blazing heat of the day. "I would recommend Riad Clementine to anyone. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, the swimming pool is discreetly tucked away for privacy, the food is delicious and the service is exellent. The owners, Angela and Antoine, bend over backwards to make your stay as comfortable as possible but don't get in the way. The location won't suit everyone but I felt not being right on the Place Jamal El Fna forces you to see more of the Medina. Overall, it's a fantastic Riad and even more so for the price."
