This elegant hotel is found just a few steps away from the historic centre of the mountainous village of Desenzano and is styled with antique furnishings which include comfortable, pastel-coloured velvet sofas on beige marble flooring from Brescia, beautiful handcrafted Asian carpets and large Tuscan vases. The colours of the lake invade the hotel, creating a charming ambiance of relaxation and quiescence.

• All of the guest rooms you will find at Park Hotel have been designed to encapsulate the refined, classic Italian style of yesteryear, yet with a contemporary mood. Wooden furniture, soundproof walls, and fitted carpet are just of few of the stylish features of the décor to be mentioned. They also come with flat-screen televisions with satellite programming and some even offer balconies with astonishing and romantic views of the lake. Bathrooms are covered in marble with gorgeous mosaic patterns, and a large crystal box shower. The hotel's cosy à la carte restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast with its lovely veranda which overlooks both the garden and the lake. Also, due to open in May of 2009, the hotel is currently preparing a rooftop swimming pool with solarium and whirlpool, all with incredible panoramic views of the surroundings.

• The Park Hotel lies on the lake promenade of Desenzano del Garda near to the city centre and all of its outstanding gourmet restaurants, and various world-class fashion boutiques such as Gucci, Versace, Burberry, Cavalli, etc... Although you'll find a vast array of activities in the immediate area, you may also be tempted to discover one of the nearby cities, such as Verona and Milan, both about an hour away by car. Furthermore, historic Venice is less than two hours away by car. Lastly, the hotel is happy to organise private transfers to all of the main airports in the vicinity.
