• The Orient Express Hotel enjoys a privileged location in the historical Sirkeci district along the banks of the Bosphorous, and pays homage to the train that brought kings and statesmen to Istanbul. The original Orient Express train route ran from Gare de l'Est in Paris and ended in the Sirkeci train terminal, just 100 metres from the hotel. The design concept of the hotel recreates the original splendour of the train, and is visually stimulating as well as nostalgic. Antique clocks, dark brown wood panelling and cream and gold hues hearken back to the turn of the 20th century, and so does the comfortable furniture.
