Luxx Hotel

An endearingly small and intimate boutique hotel that oozes with style and comfort in the heart of Bangkok. The Luxx is the brainchild of architect Dusadee Srishevachart, who transformed a traditional, five-story shophouse off Silom Road into one of the location's hottest addresses. The lacklustre of the original building could be said to have undergone a true metamorphosis: the property now features a minimalist lobby, beautiful timber flooring in the rooms, and a modern Zen ambience. The Luxx espouses a philosophy of rejuvenating the now clichéd home-away-from-home concept; every detail is dedicated to utter relaxation and comfort.

The Luxx has boasts luxurious suites, studios and compact rooms that feature chrome and wood furnishings and Zen-like decoration. The endearing wooden bathtubs are big enough for two and the rooms include a rainshower that adds an extra touch of flair to the overall minimalist simplicity. The luxury beds and the wonderful timber flooring are also well worth mentioning. WiFi internet access is also available free of charge in the rooms as well as the rest of the hotel. There are plenty of dining options in the neighbourhood, but if guests would like to savour the in-house breakfast or have it brought up to the room, the hotel's Mexx restaurant serves contemporary international cuisine.
