Hotel description
In the centre of the wild and secret Camargue, this elegant residence is a subtle compromise between the conviviality of a guesthouse and a charming hotel. The cuisine is authentic and the Mas de Peint welcomes an exceptional 1250 acres of horse-riding terrain, at your disposal. Reaching this haven of peace requires a walk along the row of Plane trees and laureate rose bushes between a rice plantation and reeds, that lead to the residence. In the shade, the meshing of thickets and shrubs is a veritable invite to the softness of living. Once through the large, arched front doors, the paved entry walkway gives away what is to come ; this particular hotel of character is simple and refined. Surprisingly fresh and welcoming in summer, these former stables are cacheted with the Seal de la Manade. It is the unique place that allows guests to discover the Camargue in total quietude. The Mas de Peint kitchen is the ideal spot to have an intimate dinner for two, or for delightful gatherings among friends, in a cosy setting. What a joy to have the aromas of the Chef's spcecialties rise right under your nose : the beef of the Mas, fresh Mediterranean fish, and vegetables from the kitchen's garden. Everyday the Chef will have guests discover his talent by creating for you a unique menu combining fresh products from the Mas with his "savoir-faire gastronomique".
The eight spacious rooms, in the main house, combine comfort and tradition. Here, ancient furnishings, exposed beams and linen bed-sheets join with the last innovations of the XXth century : television with satellite channels, minibar, private safe, air conditionning, direct phone line, hair dryer, lovely linen sheets. Ultimate touch of refinement : the B logo (like Bon) is embroidered on the sheets and pillowcases. Lucille has imagined for the rooms two harmonious color schemes that celebrate the style of the region : pink Roussillon in the North, and almond-green in the South. Each room is different : some have a "retro" bathroom (old fashioned bathtub on legs with curtains), others have their bathroom on the mezzanine (with a staircase leading to it). The suites are situated near the Mas de Peint, and each is unique. They each have a bathroom and an independent shower as well as a private terrace. The Alcove, with its canopy bed, is made for a couple and a child. It is a very desirable choice thanks to its bathrom and large dressing. The Pigeonnier is a two-level suite with a ground floor, a living room, and a chimney. It is ideal for families. A true little house. The Terrace is spacious and very sunny ; a dream room for a honey moon. To embrace one of the three suites of the Mas de Peint, is to immerse yourself in an expanse of pink, yellow, or blue-hued light
