  "Le bâtiment principal est superbe, les chambres dans l'annexe (certes moins chéres) sont d'un standing bien moindre. Par exemple: cable de seche-cheveux cisaillé en 2 endroits et inutilisable, taie d'oreiller avec trace noires de moisissure, coupure electricite dans la soirée. Fort heureusement le batiment et les alentours de la piscine sont magnifiques, et l'accueil tres personnalise et fort agreable (et non hautain comme souvent dans la region)."

  "The Hotel was charming and we felt very relaxed there. The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The new shuttle service this year helped make the location much more manageable. If you are looking for relaxed, traditional French charm then this is a good bet."

  "L'hotel est tres bien situé. Le bâtiment principal est charmant, en revanche les annexes plus récentes ne sont pas au même niveau de qualité et donnent l'impression d'avoir été réalisées à la va-vite. Le service est au mieux inefficace et la plupart du temps absent, le personnel est particulièrement désagréable et parfaitement incompatible avec le standing auquel prétend l'établissement. Pour cette raison je n'y retournerai pas."

  "The hotel is looking a little tired in some areas. The breakfast was very expensive. The one dinner we had VERY expensive and poor. The staff were, without exception, absolutely delightful. I would recommend the hotel but not the restaurant."

  "The conceirge services and recommendations were excellent! They organised hairdressers and taxis for us and let us in really nicely at 5am in the morning! I cannot wait to go back. The only downside of the hotel is that the nearby road is rather noisy but we had a really wonderful weekend."

  "Good value at low season rates. However 2 hrs was spent trying to get warm water which did not suceed untill the following morning which is absolutely not sufficient in a 4 star hotel."
