Hotel description

Hotel Le Marquis offers 36 intimate personalized rooms. As soon as you enter the lobby, you will have the feeling of a warm atmosphere thanks to the colorful and stylish decor, especially in the library, ideally adapted for private meetings or relaxation. The designer of the hotel, Paul Sartres, has imagined a monumental abstract painting which is now the link between all the rooms of the hotel. The painting has been created by the artists of the Van Rijn's art studio and is represented in several paintings that we can admire in each room and the lobby. "In putting together the design ideas, I wanted to bring something new to this traditional neighborhood. We have mixed modern with contemporary with an emphasis on art"

The Hotel Marquis is located in one of the most prestigious areas of Paris, a few steps from the Village Suisse, famous for antique specialists, and close to the Eiffel Tower and the Champ de Mars. "Great location. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was comfortable and tastefully appointed. However, I was never able to figure out the air conditioner controls. Might have been a good idea to ask for help but, I didn't. I will return to this hotel when i Visit Paris again."

"Breakfast was served until 10.30am. Some of the hot food had run out by 10am and when we asked if there was anymore, we were told there wasnt. So we paid 38 Euro's for 2 bowls of serial, 2 coffees and a bowl of fruit salad. We decided to have breakfast outside the hotel instead which was much better and much more customer focussed. Also the concierge did not give us the feeling that they wanted to make your experience in Paris a great one. You got the feeling that they were too busy to help you. I would still recommend the hotel for its location and cleanliness, but tell eveyone to have breakfast elsewhere and do your own research about restaurants and bars."

"Lovely small hotel in a great location close to the eiffel tower and walking distance of everything, including the river with the batobus service and shops at the champs elysee. Good restaurants nearby. The room was warm with interesting decor and the bed big and comfy. The staff were courteous and friendly. We arrived very late at night - about 1am - and it was no problem to them at all. I would stay here again"
