• La Casona is a rather special hotel in Mexico City. Occupying a mansion built at the beginning of the 20th century, with an elegant façade and beautiful, tranquil patio, it offers a luxurious and authentic taste of Old Mexico. Listed as an artistic monument by the National Institute of Fine Arts, the building has been completely restored and refurbished to create a cosy, welcoming environment. Throughout it is decorated with period furniture, with rich carpets, Regency wallpaper and fabrics. The service is highly personalised, and the staff will do everything they can to ensure that you have a memorable stay.

• The rooms are all exquisitely and individually furnished and are very comfortable, equipped with air-conditioning and heating. The hotel also has a terrace, a gym, steam bath, complimentary Wi-Fi internet access and - should you really need it - a business centre. The restaurant, The Piaf, is open from morning to evening every day, and - as the name suggests - offers international cuisine with French influences. The hotel will shortly be opening a new restaurant, The Azul y Oro Condesa, which will focus on the gastronomy of ancient Mexican cultures, under the eye of the internationally renowned Chef Ricardo Muñoz Zurita.

Many attractions can be found nearby, including Chapultepec Park - where you will find the Museum of Anthropology, the castle and the zoo - and the Polanco commercial district. The historical centre (Zócalo) is just 20–30 minutes by car, and the nearest metro stations (Chapultepec and Sevilla) is just 10 minutes on foot. Metropolitan Airport is around 20–60 minutes away by car, depending on traffic.
