  "The photo and info on the web indicated that the hotel was right on the water's edge. We booked the best room with water view. What isn't shown is the parking lot, front entrance of the hotel with people looking right into your room if the curtain's open and the 4 lane highway with cars and trucks zooming by before your eyes can take in a water view. Ok, view issue aside, the room is tiny (beware, wide angle lenses can make things appear larger than they are in photos). The towels were all wet, really! And when we asked for replacement, those, too, were wet. The bed was as hard as a rock (like sleeping on the floor!) and not a king size by any means. It was closer to a full size (not even queen) by USA standards. Finally, the air conditioner, which is centrally controled and off when we arrived, was barely operational and the worse part was that it was very loud, sounding much like a rattling engine non stop. So, either you open the window for air and listen to cars and trucks roaring by or listen to the rattle! Your choice. When I asked the operator if they considered themselves a 5 star hotel, she said thye were only 4 stars! In my opinion, it was more like a 2 star with a 1 star (if that) bed. At nearly $300 USD per night, the negatives are alarming, almost humorous, it was so bad! While the staff tried their best to be accomodating and we tried to be understanding, this place should NOT be on your destination list. Do not go to Kaylon. We stayed at the Best Western Imperial Palace for a much more pleasant experience all around for less $$$."

  "A classic 60's modern architecture, beautiful design. Impeccable service. Relaxed friendly. Breakfast is excellent but expensive, but the restaurant has brilliant food and is not as expensive as others with none of its class. The only problem we had, was the continuous smoking in the hotel and as it was winter there was little ventilation in the rooms."
