Hotel description

Renowned as being one of the most beautiful buildings in Medina, the Riad Monceau is a gem in hispano-moorish style bathed in tranquility and situated on a small street a few metres away from the life of the famous Jemaa-El-Fna square. Originally from the XVIII century, this riad was completely renovated in 2002 and turned into an elegant establishment. A rare and unique combination of qualities are offered, the charm of a real riad, the true calm of real getaway to the comfort of a new building. The artist and owner Isabelle Aubry has dressed the place in her own tapestries as well as the warmth of a home and top class hotel facilities.

The Riad Monceau gives a choice of seven spacious, comfortable and refined rooms, which gives it the advantage of offering a personalized and attentive service. The guests will especially appreciate the brightness and freshness of the andalusian patio in Carrara marble and the beautiful swimming pool with traditional mosaics. Sunny terraces with views of the Kutubia and the High and the snow-capped Atlas Mountains and as well as the intimate atmosphere and tasty Moroccan cooking of the gourmet restaurant.

Location

Apart from the afove facilities and services, what makes the Riad Monceau really stand out is its excellent location. Guests will benefit from the tranquillity of a small street and the proximity of the main centres of interest. The famous Jemaa-El-Fna square is found only 50 metres away and the Guéliz area, full of restaurants is of easy reach by foot or local taxi. The guests will find also a wide offer of parking, taxis and buggies in the vicinity of the riad.

"Le riad monceau est une adresse exceptionnelle pour un sejour romantique a marrakech. une situation ideale, a deux pas de la place jemma el fna , un personnel attentionné, discret, et attentif aux moindres desirs. la proprietaire est attentionnée, tjrs disponible pour de bons conseils. le lieux est totalement magique, je le recommanderai sans probleme et compte bien y retourner d'ici tres peu de temps."
