Escape to Villa Källhagen in Stockholm’s national city park, the Royal Djurgården; a warm, welcoming setting in harmony with beautiful natural surroundings, only ten minutes from the capital city’s bustling city centre. The original inn was opened in 1810 and the main building still retains its authentic old Scandinavian character. This, combined with modern comforts and the pleasure of being surrounded by one of Stockholm’s most attractive areas makes it an excellent alternative; the best of two worlds.
This small and intimate Villa Källhagen offers thirty-six peaceful accommodations, finely furnished, most of them facing the waters of the Djurgårdsbrunns Canal. The Restaurant Källhagen serves traditional Swedish cuisine with a touch of Italian and French in an air of modern simplicity. They have their own well-stocked wine cellar. In the mornings, enjoy a cinnamon bun and a cup of coffee in the bar; it stays open throughout the day for coffee after lunch, or even a glass of wine in the evening by its open fire. For business travellers, seven fully equipped conference rooms are also available.
Location
The Villa Källhagen, in beautiful Djurgården, is only ten minutes from Stockholm's city centre. One can get there easily via bus number 69, which passes right in front of the hotel.
