Hotel description

A creative fusion of minimalist design and traditional architectural elements! Enjoy an unconventional hotel in the heart of Milan. The architect Vincenzo De Cotiis, a fashion designer of haute collections, has used an eclectic mix of materials, including scratched mirrors, burnished brass, iron, black stone and cement to create the distinctive interior of the hotel. The exterior retains its original appearance, but the hotel interior was renovated in 2003 in a completely different style: modern and minimal, a mix of art and materials blended to create a unique contemporary work of art.

The Hotel Straf does more than an exhibition of creativity and contemporary art... its a guarantee of comfort and wellbeing. As well as representing an authentic and unprecedented artistic experience, the rooms and suites are an oasis of comfort and wellbeing. They have all been fitted with typical technological advances, some even include a cromotherapy and aromatherapy zone with massage chairs. The other installations of the establishment were based in the desire to give total wellbeing with top class facilities. There is a 24 gym, and internet access point in the lobby, one meeting room and a bar with intense and captivating décor.

Location

Located only few steps from the Duomo cathedral, the hotel is in the heart of Milan, within easy walking distance of the fashionable Via Montenapoleone, the shopping districts and La Scala Opera house. The Hotel Straf is 20 minutes by car from Linate airport and 45 minutes by car from Malpensa airport.
