• This gem of a countryside hotel, nestled in the Natural Park of Poblet, is named after an original water spring located on the premises, with a spout in the shape of a goose. On entering the grounds of this fantastic 18th century converted building, you are greeted with natural beauty; vines growing up the crumbling stone walls, flowers growing in wild abundance all around, birdsong, peace. The building itself has lost none of its original charm, and is now equipped to cater for today’s guest, including a restaurant serving home cooked food. Inside there are original tiled floors, homely carpets, stripped wood furniture and patterned, Arab-inspired wall tile details.

• Each of the hotel’s five rooms are decorated individually, conserving the original features, and with smart country décor; terracotta tiled floors, wooden furniture, quilted bed throws and clean white walls create a charming ambiance The hotel can arrange tours of the local countryside on quad bike, horse or bicycle as well as orienteering days. The lovely grounds, spanning seven hectares, are also perfect for walks, hikes or quiet contemplation with a glass of wine under the canopy of Plane trees; the atmosphere is tranquil, natural and private. Just two kilometres away is the Cistercian Monasterio de Poblet, one of the largest monasteries in Spain, declared World Heritage by UNESCO.
