Inaugurated in September 2003, the first Hotel-Boutique in the Monaco Principality overlooks the Port de Plaisance and offers a spectacular view of the Mediterranean and the yachts afloat. The design of the 50 rooms was entirely done by Leila Menchari, head decorator to the House of Hermès. This new revamping is the opportunity to better reveal the magic of Monte-Carlo, by highlighting its stirring qualities. Specially conceived to push the norms of luxury and to offer exceptional service, the Port Palace is brimming with elegance and serenity for your well-being. Very attentive to service detail, the Hotel caters to those who expect nothing but excellence.
The design, entrusted to Leila Menchari, decorator to the Maison Hermès, favors the sleek lines of Poltrona Frau furnishings and the placid colors of Rubelli fabrics. The natural materials, wrought on by artisans from around the globe, embody the care given to detail and the quest for perfection : Carrare marble, polished Spanish stone... Taste the chef�s propositions in the magical environment on the 6th floor with incredible views on the Marina. The two surprising cellars add an exceptional touch to this culinary experience. The chef Patrick Raingeard is the only chef in Monaca who has been awarded a star in the Michelin Guide 2009. The beauty institute “Fleur de Peau” offers unique treatments that are based on a protocole developped by Danièle de Winter and are inspired by japonese techniques. The treatments are given in three spacious rooms and the beauty area includes hammans and saunas, separated for men and women, and a spacious yoga area. The beauty institute offers a large choice of beauty products for face and body.
Location
The Hotel is 45 minutes away from the Nice Airport (by car). Located at the center of Monaco, a few yards away from the Place du Casino, the Port Palace faces the Quai des Etats Unis, the "Rocher", and the Prince�s palace.

"My stay with Splendia was perfect....It has been thirty five years since I last visited Monte Carlo and I wanted to show my two children and my comments to your staff was that M C was as wonderful as I remember and that the hotel and staff were so kind with my two teenage kids.....I also had a friend from Rome(Mrs. Aquino) stay at the hotel and she said it was a great choice.....WE enjoyed Splendia in Prague"Iron Gate" and that was devine and there I was with my four teenage kids...Oh well the Hotel Martinez is also wonderful....the staff has been great and the hotel is perfect "CLEAN"....Thanks John Credaroli, Jr"
