The Petit Palace Posada del Peine is situated in the historical building of the same name and has nearly 400 years of history and was founded in 1610. Located next to the east gate of the Plaza Mayor, for years this hotel received very distinguished guests up until 1970 when the hotel closed its doors. In April 2005 the Hotel was reconverted into a modern, last generation hotel, equipped with the latest technical innovations that places this hotel once again among the best in Madrid.
The Petit Palace offers the services of buffet breakfast, snack-bar and business center in the hotel's main hall. It also boasts last generation technology such as laptops, flat screen televisions, hydro-showers and free internet access by cable and Wireless in all building areas.
Location
The Petit Palace Posada del Peine is next to the Plaza Mayor of Madrid and 50 meters from the Puerta del Sol, in the heart of the historical and artistic city centre. All the main monuments and interesting tourist spots are within walking distance as well as the main leisure and shopping areas. Next to the Royal Theatre, Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral. A ten minute walk will lead guests into the so-called “Art Promenade” where the three most important museums of the city are to be found: the Prado Museum, Thyssen Bornemisza Museum and the Modern Art Centre Reina Sofía.

"L'hôtel est extrêmement bien situé, le personnel très gentil, mais la salle de bains pas bien chauffée et organisée d'une façon un peu bizarre et pas très pratique...., sauf pour la douche et l'eau chaude qui étaient extras. Pour les serviettes et linge de lit service impecable! C'est un hôtel à recommander."
