  "Very friendly staff, location is great, friendly more residential neightbourhood and only 5 min walk from a big RER/Metro station with direct trains to the important sights. (so location is great, but not in the very heart of Paris, meaning not in Le Marais or St Germain, still absolutely recommendable). We were offered early check-in, but it was not offered as an extra benefit because of being a Splendia Club member. More: the hotel was modern, well furnished and CLEAN (which is not a common thing for hotels in Paris, as I experienced different in the past, as well in 3* as in 5* hotels)."

  "L'hôtel est bien situé, juste à côté de la place de la Nation d'où partent le métro et le RER. Taxis en bas de la rue. Rue très calme agréable dans Paris."

  "La chambre était minuscule, nous avons dû nous faufiler autour du lit pour accéder à a salle de bain. Sur la porte était affiché le tarif de 290euros ce qui nous a énormément surpris. Nous avons payé 100euros ce qui est un bon rapport qualité pris, jamais nous serions restés au tarif normal correspondant à une très belle chambre dans un quatre étoile. Le petit déjeuner en salle laisse à désirer. Nous sommes arrivés vers 10H il n'y avait plus une seule table de libre car aucune d'elles n'avaient été débarrassées. La personnes derrière le buffet du petit déjeuner n'a pas le temps de s'occuper des clients et parle à peine français."

  "Excellent small hotel close to nation metro and rer which gives easy access to anywhere in paris. The Area hotel is in is a area of paris away from hoardes of tourist which is something we liked. Room itself was very nicely decorated and we were lucky enough to be on the top floor. Staff helpful and very friendly, we had no problems with anything during our stay."

  "Extra pillows and a bath robe would have been nice but not a big deal they weren't there. Also a book detailing info about hotel services, local restraunts etc would be good."

  "Le service : une heure (avec trois appels à la réception) pour se faire servir un petit déjeuner composé de mini viennoiseries desséchées en chambre, c'est inacceptable. Le personnel se permettant de nous qualifier de clients "spéciaux" parce que nous avons renvoyé le plateau. Une chambre qui sent le tabac froid. Une literie trop dure. Enfin même pas un tapis de sol dans la salle de bain."

  "Ein absolut stylisches Hotel mit viel Liebe zum Detail! Auch wenn alles auf extrem wenig Raum begrenzt ist. Ich habe vorher nicht gewusst, wieviel Mobiliar auf 12 m² untergebracht werden kann. Lediglich das Frühstück gibt Anlass zur Kritik. Hier wäre ein wenig mehr Auswahl an Wurst / Käse wünschenswert (es gibt jeden Tag die gleiche Sorte Käse und gekochten Schinken)und das Brot ist leicht zäh."

  "Je réponds aux questionnaires quand les prestations sont en dessous ou au dessus de ce que l'on peut attendre. Tout est parfait dans cet hôtel avec du personnel professionnel, qui est à votre écoute, qui ne vous dit pas "c'est au fond à gauche" mais qui vous accompagne. Les chambres sont moderne et propre. L'hôtellerie française devrait s'inspirer de cet établissement pour sa bonne réputation. Encore merci, je ne manquerai pas de recommander cet hôtel."

  "Bonnes prestations dans l'ensemble. La décoration est assez réussie, la chambre calme et propre (7° étage sur rue), le lit de qualité. L'essentiel est assuré. Quelques petits défaut, le beau n'est pas toujours pratique : manque un peu de rangement dans la salle de bains et dans la chambre. La climatisation n'est pas réversible, impossible de passer en mode chauffage, il a donc été nécessaire de demander une couverture à la réception."

By Paris standards the size of the room was surprisingly large. Without exception the reception desk personnel were friendly and helpful. The room was also very quiet although it was facing the street. The windows are very good at shutting out noise. The location near the Nation metro hub is very good for exploring any part of the city."
