With its unique location overlooking the Canal Grande, Palazzo Barabrigo sul Canal Grande has one mission: to be the perfect host for all the guests. This intimate hotel has just two floors and is completely separate both physically and philosophically from the 16th century Venetian Palazzo that surrounds it. It reopened its doors in the summer of 2007 after a complete refurbishment. The hotel offers a warm, friendly and comfortable home, in a unique atmosphere of past, present and future.
Palazzo Barbarigo has 18 guestrooms, each with its own unique character, design and layout. This hotel offers several services, such as and à la carte breakfast served in the breakfast room or in the bedroom, or cocktails and drinks prepared at the bar in a deco style environment overlooking the Grand Canal. After a walk discovering the soul of Venice, delicious light dishes and snacks are available upon request.
Location
Palazzo Barbarigo sul Canal Grande is located next to the Grand Canal, not far from Rialto Bridge and near the well known Palazzo Pisani-Moretta. It is just a few minutes walk from piazzale Roma and the railway station. A private pier on the Grand Canal allows gondolas and small private boats to arrive directly to the hotel´s main entrance. The hotel is close to all major attractions including La Fenice, Palazzo Grassi, the Guggenheim Museum and Piazza San Marco.
