The historic four star 'Design & Style Hotel Neruda' dates from 1348. It has been tastefully renovated, and combines modern stylish fittings within historic exposed brick surroundings. The hotel provides accommodations within twenty contemporary, yet comfortable, guestrooms that have the highest standard amenities.

Adding intellectual gravitas, the warm-coloured walls are dotted with quotations from Jan Neruda, the beloved 19th-century Czech poet, writer and journalist who lived in the building for more than 20 years. The hotel has its own restaurant, Café Carolina, which has a glass atrium and outdoor terrace. Here, guests can sample Czech specialities, as well as a range of dishes from an international menu. "Hôtel est très agréable,près du château, mais le quartier manque d'animation le soir. Possibilité de privatisé le SPA, très sympa. Seul point négatif est qu'il se situe en haut d'une cote."

"The staff were really good but there was a large party of nosiy drunk norweigan males guests who kept us awake for 2 hours in the middle of both friday & sat nights. This was a great pity as without them it would have been perfect."

"Die Zimmer sind sehr schön möbliert, Kompliment an die Innenarchitekten. das Zimmer 101 ging leider zum Hof, bei einem Fenster fehlten Sichtschutz/Vorhänge. Im Frühstücksraum waren die Tische nicht gedeckt, das Brot trocken und die Eier kalt oder trocken. Schade dass das Restaurant keine Snacks für den kleinen Hunger anbietet wie in der Vergangenheit. Ich werde trotzdem wieder kommen weil mir die NERUDA-Strasse besonders gefällt."

"Hotel très agréable , désign moderne comme nous le souhaitions, mais pas très fonctionnel : exemple pas de lampe de chevet, ni chevet, ce qui nécessite de se lever pour allumer ou éteindre la lumière de la chambre .... salle de bain sans glace au dessus du lavabo - juste un miroir grossissant - rien pour accrocher les serviettes, pas de rangement à part une penderie .....(rien pour les chemises, pull etc ...) tout cela au nom du prétendu design ...."

"Aménagement de bon goût et très bonne qualité, localisation bien meilleure que la vieille ville (sans parler de la ville nouvelle): calme, proche du centre, accès rapide à pieds, environnement sympathique de nombreux restaurants agréables et abordables.
