Hotel Murmuri brings a new concept of a boutique hotel to the heart of the Eixample, in the avant-garde paradise of Barcelona. Scheduled to open during the first quarter of 2008, this hotel is ready to serve and surprise you. Its name comes from its unique location on the Rambla de Catalunya where you can delight in the murmur of the constant hustle and bustle of the city. Created in an intimate style, it boasts modern décor and sophisticated design. A true oasis in the heart of the Catalan capital.

With a total of only 53 guestrooms, this hotel is exclusive and quiescent. Each one is cosy and bears an innovative design worthy of the most cutting-edge interior design magazine covers, decorated with sensitivity and good taste. All are totally soundproof equipped with state-of-the-art amenities such as, flat screen televisions with a wide choice of international channels, and in-room WiFi access… Asian cuisine of the highest quality, with gastronomic proposals that combine pleasure with healthy eating. The Marfil Bar & Terrace, located in the hotel lobby, has a dining facility on the terrace, along the Rambla Catalunya.

Located in the very heart of Barcelona, in the midsts of the Eixample, beside the Passeig de Gràcia, the commercial and cultural nerve centre of the city, Hotel Murmuri is within walking distance from the Rambles, Diagonal Avenue and Sagrada Família. Only a few meters from Gaudí’s major works. This magnificent location enables us to enjoy all the Modernist art in its surroundings that have made this city famous.

Seuls bémols pour un hôtel de ce standing, les accès à internet (wifi, postes en libre service) sont ridiculement chers et mal conçus (faire un décompte sur le temps de connexion par exemple et non pas à partir de la première utilisation) et l'eau en bouteille devrait être offerte puisque l'eau du robinet n'est pas potable."

"I did not believe the restaurant offered enough cooked breakfast options. Also on Sun night the restaurant moved us into the bar even though the bar was closing. I believe they should have told us the bar was closing and maybe suggested some alternative options instead of moving us on so they could clean up and leave. Overall the food quuality was great."
