Hotel description

The Hotel Montalembert is steeped in French tradition from its location to its name; it is a Parisian landmark of the left bank, and is named after Charles Forbes Montalembert- politician, writer and member of the prestigious Academie Française. Built in 1926 and recently refurbished, it is the epitome of French elegance and style. The interior of the hotel is decorated in fine taste with muted tones and modern furniture.

The rooms of the Hotel Montalembert are individually decorated in either classic or contemporary style with textures of cotton, linen and crushed velvet in plum, cream and chocolate brown tones. All rooms are fitted with the latest amenities like plasma screens and iPod Docks. The hotel’s restaurant is classic chic, with tan leather upholstery, ebony bookcases and smoked glass sectioning off the room into discreet nooks. You can also choose to dine outside, weather permitting, or relax in the comfortable armchairs in front of a crackling fire and the ‘Salon Gallimard’, named after a famous local publishing house.

Location

The hotel is located in the Saint Germain des Prés district, home to the best art galleries, antique shops and fine boutiques of Paris. It is also very near to the Musée d’Orsay and the Louvre. Charles de Gaulle airport is 45 minutes away and metro/bus station ‘Rue du Bac’ just 2 minutes walk.
