• An exclusive collection of suites, housed in a historic building with acres of lush countryside and woodland, characterises family run Hotel Mas Salvi. The main building is a 17th century 'Masia', or manor house, with grey stone walls complete with climbing plants and a tiled roof. This picturesque building is set amongst 17 acres of woodland, where you will find typical Mediterranean flowers, plants and even fruits like the seasonal 'bolets' mushrooms that can be collected here in the autumn. The interior of the masia also displays the conservation of its original features, with many exposed stone walls and wooden beams, while in all areas the modern has been incorporated seamlessly with the older elements. An illusion of blending outdoor/indoor space has been created throughout; in some areas the floor to ceiling windows create this illusion, while in others the simple abundance of natural light and amazing scenery glimpsed through the windows is enough to remind you of the beautiful outside terrain.

• The suites of the Hotel Mas Salvi are all decorated to an extremely high standard in luxury country chic design; tiled floors, rattan and wicker mats and furniture, a décor of heavy cream and natural tones as well as original features like exposed wooden beams, open fires and antique furniture where possible. All rooms gave modern facilities like air-conditioning and internet, an they also all have a private terrace to make the most of the near year round sunshine. The hotels facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, both in spectacular surroundings, also a massage room, jacuzzi and sauna for those who like to relax, and for the more active person, tennis courts. There are three bars to choose from if all you want to do is sit around and have a chat over a good glass of local wine, including one with a billiard table. If it is quite pass-times you crave, a reading room is at your disposal, while for those who wish to explore this naturally rich region, bikes can be hired and there is also good walking and hiking close by. The restaurant is gastronomically rich, using the best locally procured produce to make fine, home-cooked food.
