Hotel Mas De Baix

Occupying an idyllic location in the town of Cabrils 20 minutes north of Barcelona, this charming hotel is one of the finest examples of the traditional Catalan 'Mas' or farmhouse. A large house built in the middle of the 17th century, it is listed by the Catalan government and has original features such as its well, still in use, a grape press and its pond now converted into a pool. The hotel been cleverly restored by its owners to create a pleasing hybrid of old and new: cosy and intimate rooms offer comfortable accommodation, while vintage furniture, arched brick ceilings and a playful mixing of styles gives the hotel an elegant and traditional feel.

Each bedroom in Hotel Mas de Baix has been uniquely styled, but all have free Internet access and air-conditioning. Bathrooms have either a large walk-in shower or a bath. The cosy and welcoming outdoor bar is a great place to try the local wines, while the garden and pool makes a lovely place to escape to. Light meals and breakfast is served in the hotel, and business meetings can be hosted here.
