Hotel description
Situated in a quiet fishing port, this three star " Le Goyen " hotel and its gourmet restaurant dominate the magnificent bay of Audierne. This beautiful house with character overlooks the sea and is ideally situated to discover Cornouaille and all of its treasures. Bankside, the three star "Le Goyen " hotel and its gourmet restaurant dominate the magnificent bay of Audierne. From its balconies and sunny terraces, the comings and goings of the caseyeurs, or typical Breton fishing boats, and the brilliantly coloured crayfish-nets are a sight to behold. This beautiful house with its yellow façade and blue shutters is the point of departure for numerous excursions to Cornouaille, living at the rate of the sea links with l'Ile de Sein.
Those who have the chance to stay in this small part of Cornouaille will discover some of the sites which make it famous. From La Pointe du Raz to La Pointe du Van, by way of the Bay des Trépassés, the natural landscapes are of a breathless beauty. For a moment of coolness, the Goyen's estuary, with its cemetery of boats and its wooded banks, offer pleasant promenades. Full of life, the quays of the Port du Plouhinec are also a part of the unique sites. Every day, at about 4 pm, dozens of curious wait for the arrival of boats to attend boat-docking, fish unloading and auctions.
Location
In need of a breath of fresh air? Embark for l'Ile de Sein aboard a speedboat abreast the open sea with one of the maritime companies based in Audierne. After one hour of crossing, you are on one of the most fantastic islands of Ponant.
