• The Hotel La Purificadora is a former 19th century water purifying centre transformed into a luxurious hotel with marvellous interior design. This is the latest project of innovative Mexican hotelier Carlos Couturier, a wonderful hotel situated next to church of San Francisco. Purity is the guiding principle of the hotel’s design as executed by renowned architect Ricardo Legorreta: black and white are the only colours, bringing out the subtleties of the materials used – stone from the original building, old wood, onyx and custom floor tiles, as well as found materials such as bottles and glass fragments, which are also integrated in the hotel’s graphic design.

• 26 purely contemporary rooms and suites feature up-to-date amenities and enjoy spectacular views of Puebla, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A good night's sleep is guaranteed in this beautiful setting that mixes traditional and contemporary flavours.
  But this minimalism shouldn’t be confused with lack of luxury: a roof terrace and 30-metre pool provide ample recreational opportunities. A ground-floor restaurant, patio, library and extensive wine cellar offer civilized diversions.

• La Purificadora is located in the historic centre of Puebla, a colonial city on the road between Mexico City and Oaxaca. The city is known for its numerous churches. According to the local saying, there are as many churches in Puebla as days of the year.
