In the middle of the splendid vineyards of Saint-Emilion, the Grand Barrail Château Hotel & Spa is a splendid castle of the 19th century surrounded by a park. A splendid residence with its four exceptional buildings, where you can take the time to enjoy a haven of peace in the heart of a world famous wine area. The Château, with its unique architecture and style will introduce you to a different world. La Résidence, with its breathtaking views of the vineyards, will let the morning sun wake you. The 41 rooms and 5 suites are located in the Château itself as well as in the four two story buildings. The rooms are spacious and the majority contains either a terrace or balcony. They have great views and offer modern comforts whilst respecting the "castle" ambience. The Grand Barrail restaurant is located in the majestic rooms of the Château. Dinner is served in three different places: the Restaurant Room, the Moorish Room and the Round Room. During summer guests can also have dinner in the terrace overlooking the park. Clients can sample from a particularly important wine selection and the excellent menu in an ambience blending beauty and richness of style. The restaurant rooms are enclosed in stained glass windows, exceptional plaster wall moldings and contemporary art works. The restaurant will really stimulate the senses. The new Chef, Romain Gondras prepares delicious dishes typical of Southwest France accompanied by the greatest wines of Bordeaux, harmonizing in a way that will enchant even the most demanding palate. You will be able to taste new and unexpected dishes. Finally, the Gran Barrail luxurious spa offers pure moments of relaxation and rest for body and soul.
