Situated less than a two-minute stroll from St. Mark's Square, Hotel dell’Opera takes its name from the neighbouring La Fenice Theater, and is an atmospheric blend of classic Venetian elegance with a contemporary flair. The rooms in Hotel dell'Opera recreate the atmosphere of late 1800's Venice with hand-picked mahogany wood furniture, flowing fabrics, elegant plasterwork and naturally finished walls. They include up-do-date features such as wall-mounted flatscreen TVs and free WiFi connection. Hotel Dell'Opera is located on Calle delle Veste which can be reached directly by boat. You can opt for taking a water taxi from the airport, a trip which takes about 40 minutes, or you can take public transportation (Blue Line or Red Line) to the "San Marco Giardinetti" stop (1h10) and walk for about 15 minutes. If you are arriving by bus or car via Piazzale Roma you can take a water taxi from there. The hotel is also accessible from the Vallaresso stop which you arrive to by taking Lines 1 or 2 from Santa Lucia Train Station.
