The Deluxe rooms are all decorated in a Napoleon III style using fine and precious materials such as Kenzo velvets as well as satins and taffetas of Lelièvre. Two of our Deluxe Rooms are situated on the ground floor entirely decorated in the original style of Napoleon III, with bees, a splendid fireplace and moldings on the ceiling. One of these rooms is graced with an old fashioned claw foot bath and the other with a spacious shower. Two other Deluxe Rooms are on the first floor with a little balcony overlooking Rue de Grenelle. One entirely in red with bees style Napoleon III, it’s beautiful antique furniture and a bathroom of red roses whilst the other one pleasantly colored in fuchsia with a bathroom with a large bathtub.

The Hotel changed owners on November 3rd, 2005 and ever since the innovative spirit of Jean Hector de Fay, Marquis of La Tour Maubourg, and creator of Gueugnon in 1724, remains the inspiration for restoring this splendid private mansion. The hotel features individually designed and refurbished rooms using fine materials and antique furniture, as well as a very pretty hall at the top of an original and majestic staircase, where touches of silk and stylish moldings reign.

16 elegant rooms and one stunning Junior Suite are decorated with refinement and attractive colours. Each has its own charm and particularity… Despite many changes, this hotel has knowingly preserved the charm inherent to the area. From the terrace and garden found in the interior courtyard, the scenery is of a classic Parisian neighborhood. The lobby bar is perfect for enjoying a quiet moment after a long day visiting Paris or a day at work. A wide selection of typical French drinks is offered as well as a wine and spirit cellar. Breakfast is served in a vaulted stone-built cave, in your room or in the garden from 7am onward. The hotel disposes of a private garden, a Hammam, fitness machines, free WiFi connection as well as a computer and a printer at disposal of the guests any time of the day and free turn-down service every afternoon.

The bath was a bit cramped and needed more room at the sink and mirror. The Metro runs close by, so a blessing and curse. Good if we wanted to go somewhere, but kept us awake at night. Overall, this was a really good experience and a great place to stay!"

We did not eat in the hotel or use the public areas other than the reception but everything looked great. We had a large ground floor room with a lovely bathroom and claw foot bath.
